Bride Wars is a fun, silly and thoroughly girlie-girl movie. Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) are best friends since childhood who have always dreamed of having June weddings at the Plaza in New York.
When they both get engaged, they go to see the top wedding planner in the city played by Candice Bergen. The real madness begins when a mistake is made by the planner's assistant and both women's weddings are accidently double booked for the same day and time. Both women are unwilling to change their wedding date and believe me...it gets ugly, but fortunately for us, it's pretty funny too.
As the Liv and Emma's friendships, relationships, and dignity are tested they eventually come to realize that the person that will stand beside you thru everything in life is your best friend.
